A true Soldier of the Cross.
A tribute to Rev. Wilfredo Diaz Sr., truth, faithful, humble servant of the Lord God Almighty, and a mighty warrior for the kingdom of God. A man filled with a special powerful anointing over his life and his ministry as a Pastor, Minister of the word. An awesome Pastor, husband, father, and friend and great example of Jesus here this Earth. His family and friends called him a hero of the Cross. The powerful anointing and the Spirit of God always shine through him bringing joy, peace, healing and restoration to everyone he has met most of all the greatest news King Jesus, and salvation. Million had come to the Lord through his ministry here on Earth. As a humble Pastor I had the privilege to be under his covering and anointing over forty plus years. As a Pastor no one doesn't really see what's behind the scenes. The hardship, many sleepless nights, brokenness, painful knees from many hours before the Lord praying for the sick, and the needs of the people and the church. Countless times he hasn't eaten or slept because there was a special need to be met at that very hour. There would be times that his own family would be put on the back burner for the ministry and for the calling of servanthood .The calling to be a Pastor isn't a blue ribbon reward, anybody can be a pastor. But it's God who chooses who he wants to pastor his sheeps here on Earth. It takes someone with a humble heart and burning hunger for the harvest and for the kingdom of God. Rev. Wilfredo had this honor and privilege to be called Pastor, a shepherd to God's people. He accepted Jesus and was saved when he was a little boy at a very young age of 12 grew in wisdom, and more hunger for God by the age 17 he was traveling around preaching the Good news of salvation. He has never back- slide alway forwarding focused on God's goodness, Mercy and Grace. We celebrate his homecoming where he stands before his great Creator. As the angel chorus leads him in. Jesus will say with a voice of triumph " Come in my great faithful servant enter in through the Pearly Gates." Welcome home my son". Leaving behind a valuable legacy and the honor of serving the Lord with all his mind, heart and soul. The race is real, the challenge is to get to the finish line. Earn the crown of Glory placed upon your head by the King of Kings Jesus. Rev Wilfredo his final word would be do you know Jesus? Let me tell you who he is.
Rev Wilfredo leaves behind his one true love Amelia Diaz his precious wife, life partner in marriage and ministry of 63 years. But knowing each other for 65 years. He leaves behind also Three amazing children Wilfredo Diaz Jr.( Cusy) and his wife Andrea, Eliud Diaz (Timmy) and his wife Nelida, Annette E. Diaz (Anita) and her husband Adan Sr. Wilfredo leaves behind grandchildren and great grandchildren they all were his pride and joy. These grandchildren were truly his love of his heart also. He was a true example of father to children, he was a hero in their hearts. A great faithful husband to his beloved wife. Most of all a true Soldier of the Cross.
